About The Property

Bud and Louise Morgan owned and ran Hidden Valley Horse Ranch as a dude ranch in the 1950s.  At the time the property was 700 acres.  The property now has 1,774.2 acres of timber and grazing land cascading from where Elkhorn Mountains meet the Blue Mountains. Whitman National Forest borders it to the Northwest, Wolf Creek and Clear Creek run through the entirety of the property down to Wolf Creek Reservoir. The property borders almost a half mile of Wolf Creek Reservoir. To the South and Southeast are alfalfa fields and the Elkhorn Wildlife Refuge, an area dedicated to protecting wintering deer and elk. There are remnants of the dude ranch with the original house and barn remain, but the stability remains to be determined. The property is accessed from a county road which is maintained all year. There is one easement on the property that allows access to Wolf Creek Ranch 62924 Wolf Creek Lane.
